Pictures from "Brigadoon" I have to admit -- this was the hardest play I have ever directed -- but what a sense of accomplishment when it was all said and done!

Tommy and Jeff wander into an awakening "Brigadoon"

Meg takes a decided interest in one of the 'outsiders', albeit it is not returned!

"Can't we two go walking together... out beyond the hillside of green?"

Fiona finally decides Tommy isn't so bad, after all.

The girls are helping Jeanie pack up, as she is getting married this eve.

Giggling gaggle of girls as Charlie signs the family Bible!

Jeanie does a short dance of joy -- excited about the upcoming wedding!

Jeff has torn his pants on 'thistles' and thusly, is attired in Highland garb. In reality, Josh, the actor who plays Tommy, was the only male in the play to not wear a kilt. He was most bummed about this, until his gift from his director (me) was a kilt, handed to him at the end of the play and in front of the audience Saturday eve. :)

The story of Brigadoon and how it came to be, is told by the Dominie, Mr. Lundie.

The happy couple tie the knot!

I mean.. come on. Awwww! It took a long time to strategically stage this kiss with the minimum of embarrassment for all involved.

The newlyweds begin the wedding dance. It is later interrupted by Harry, who wanted to marry Jean for himself. After a scuffle, he runs off, telling everyone he is ending the miracle by leaving Brigadoon!

The men of Brigadoon hunt for Harry, intent on bringing him back before the night ends and Brigadoon vanishes for all. Harry ends up being tripped by Jeff, falling to his death.

Jeff and Tommy return to New York, trying to get back to normal. Jeff, whose drinking habits were bad to begin with, has been pretty much drunk for the four months since they've returned.

Tommy's fiance, Jane, enters the picture.

After speaking with her and flashing back to Brigadoon, Tommy realized he is in love with Fiona, and can never go through he and Jane's wedding. There was a nice slap involved in this scene. Kestrel (Jane) quite enjoyed administering it. heheh..er *coff*
